Born in Bakau, The Gambia, West Africa, King Marong is a Master Djembe Drummer, Percussionist, Singer, Composer, Teacher and Cultural Ambassador. Since the age of 12 King has performed and taught all over the world. Now living in Melbourne, King has earned a reputation for delivering workshops with versatility and sensitivity. King believes, 'anyone with two hands can pick up drumming techniques'. So if you've always wanted to try - why not give it a go? Single workshop 12pm-1.30pm Saturday 19 April ($25).
