The Warrandyte Mechanics Institute & Arts Association has been promoting all forms of the Arts in Warrandyte for more than 50 years. Most activities centre around our beloved mechanics Institute hall, located on the corner of Yarra Street and Mitchell Avenue, Warrandyte. Currently, the major groups supported are: The Craft Group; The painting group; The Pottery Group; The Music Group; and The Theatre Group.

Established in 1972 by a group of eight enthusiastic potters, the Stonehouse has grown and developed into an exciting and unique venue for a diverse range of pottery. Works include beautifully crafted tableware, patio and garden pottery, decorative lustre work, sculptured forms, unique vases, bowls and platters - perfect for gifts (especially for overseas family and friends) or decorating your home. Open 10am-5pm daily.
